I was part of a group of students participating in a design challenge organised by studio Ljudje. The main goal was to increase young voter turnout in 2022 Slovenian parlamentary elections.

How did we get more young popole to vote?
After a 3-day design sprint we decided to address the issue through gamification and humor, and we created an instagram profile "Slovenija išče šefa" (»Slovenia is searching for the boss«).
The main content of the page was a »a tournament«. We started posting facts about each party's stand on issues important to our target group (like housing, environment, jobs...), and interesting informations about each party's leader in a form of collectable cards.
Than each week, we posted battles of the political parties on instagram stories, where pople could vote... the winner qualified to the next round of the tournament, until the final, which took place a day before the actual election day.
In between the battles, we posted other engaging, funny, and sometimes depressing elections-related content, from affirmations and memes, to horoscopes and fictional merch.
